Manuela Olive, 66, swimmer and certified Chlore Girl for the past five years, shares her experience with the brand.

WHY SWIMMING?

“Swimming helps me unwind. I had a very stressful job and lived under constant pressure.”
“When I’m underwater, I reconnect with myself. I hear my breathing, and it relaxes me deeply.”

YOUR FAVORITE STROKE?

“I mainly swim freestyle I swim several kilometers every day. It’s a complete stroke, and above all, it’s one that moves quickly. Since I’m hyperactive, I feel like I’m really moving when I swim this stroke.”

SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU KNOWN THE BRAND?

"I’ve probably known Chlore since its very beginning at least 4/5 years. I was looking for swimmer-back swimsuits. I love that cut and I love swimming with it. "The swimsuits are elegant and refined, and they stay perfectly in place! Meaning that when I do my flip turns, I don’t want any uncomfortable shifting of the swimsuit. And they’re beautiful — the colors are stunning. The styles are superb, and some designs adapt to every body type, and that’s really important! You feel good!"

WHAT KEEPS YOU LOYAL TO CHLORE?

"Oh, I’m not going to change because every time there’s a new swimsuit, it’s stunning! It’s different, original and beautiful. I use them for both gymnastics and swimming. And with the new colors, there are always new things coming out! So yes, I stick with the brand!"

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MODEL?

"So my favorite model is the BONDI (…) in all colors. Pool blue, royal, black — I think I’ve tried pretty much everything! It’s super practical with the zipper that makes it easy to put on, and you can adjust it depending on how you want to wear the swimsuit. The swimmer-back is also very important for me."
"Otherwise, I also have the shorty swimsuits (Dalry Low/High and Alice) that I really like as well. I use them for floor gymnastics or even Pilates. They’re just so comfortable!"
